🔧 Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join a dynamic team within a major petrochemical operation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing and optimizing instrumentation systems in heavy industrial environments.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate instrumentation for complex process systems (including DCS, PLC, SCADA, flow & pressure devices).
- Ensure instrumentation operations align with leading standards and protocols (SABIC, Aramco, ISA, IEC, API, NFPA).
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot technical issues, and lead failure analysis for control systems.
- Review and prepare technical documents such as loop diagrams, datasheets, and interlock matrices.
🎓 Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in petrochemical or oil & gas environments.
- Solid grasp of safety and automation systems, including emergency shutdown (ESD) and fire/gas detection.
- Professional certification (e.g., ISA CCST) is a plus.
