Fiber Optic Cable Technicians
Requirements
.Candidate must be ITI or Diploma from the recognized institute with minimum 6-8 year of experience.
.Technician must be certified from Ooredoo or Kahramaa. (Sample attached)
.Candidate must be familiar with the components provided in Drawings.
.Inspecting, testing, and repairing equipment used in telecommunications networks including and not limited to OTDR, Networks Analyzer.
.Installing new fiber optic networks and repairing existing ones as needed.
.Installing and maintaining equipment used in telecommunications networks such as routers, switches, and repeaters.
.Installing new infrastructure or upgrading existing infrastructure to accommodate technological advances in the telecommunications industry
.Knowledge about Work permits system in Oil & Gas industries.
.Installing fiber optic cables in conduits, Underground or aerial locations such as on telephone poles or between buildings.
